Mental Health for mothers is interesting to me since I recently interacted with a mother who was expriencing perinatal depression. I was familiar wht post-partum depression but did not know to what extent this could affect someone.
While reading about Austrailian mothers, especially sole mothers.many of them go undected because of lack of good health care. This is so severe that according to Austrialian Medical Association many of the sole parents (mothers) have considered suicide.Doctors are researching ways to help support the mothers. 27 percent of the mothers were between the ages of 22 to 27 years old.
The information gained from this just makes aware of how serious and severe this condition can be and how it can lead to death.
